The Queen's Award for Enterprise 2006, UK's Highest Business Honor, Goes to Modine and its Subsidiary, Thermacore International
Racine, WI, April 25, 2006 - Modine Manufacturing Company (NYSE: MOD), a world leader in designing and developing heating and cooling solutions for a diversified group of markets, announced today that its electronic cooling subsidiary, Thermacore International, Inc., has won the prestigious Queen's Award for Enterprise 2006, United Kingdom's highest honor for business performance.Thermacore was recognized for The Queen's Award for Enterprise: International Trade for its outstanding contribution to the UK's manufacturing industries export achievements. This award is only given to businesses that demonstrate substantial growth in overseas earnings for goods and services in relation to the size of their operations. Over the last three years, Thermacore has seen an increase in the number of exports sales, up 83 percent in the last year, with a customer base spanning 25 countries.

The winners of the Queen's Award were publicly announced on the Queen's birthday, April 21st.
